The purpose of Google AdWords is to promote our website by displaying interest-based advertising on third-party websites and in the search engine results of Google’s search engine and by displaying advertisements on our website.

Furthermore, the data subject has the opportunity to object to Google’s interest-based advertising. To do this, the person concerned must access the link www.google.com/settings/ads from each of the Internet browsers they use and make the desired settings there. All information about Google’s privacy can be found here https://www.google.com/intl/en/policies/privacy/.

Facebook

pixel

For the evaluation and support of our online marketing measures on or via Facebook, a so-called “Facebook tracking pixel” is incorporated on this website, which is published by Facebook, Inc. (1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA. 94304, USA “Facebook” ) is provided and evaluated. When you visit our platform, the tracking pixel establishes a direct connection between your browser and the Facebook server. Among other things, Facebook receives the information from your browser that our website has been called up by your device. If you are a Facebook user, Facebook may assign your visit to our pages to your account. Similarly, Facebook can subsequently recognize whether a Facebook ad has made an impact, eg has led to an online purchase. For this we receive exclusively statistical data from Facebook without reference to your specific person. This happens for purposes of advertising effectiveness, market research and needs-based design of our website. Follow-up using the pixel is done in a way that does not allow us to identify you as a person and marks users only in anonymized form as visitors to our website. Facebook uses cookies. Facebook stores and uses the data collected by the pixel. This is at least partly outside the territorial scope of the EU data protection rules.

Custom audience via pixel method

On our website a Facebook tracking pixel is included. With the help of this pixel, Facebook can understand the surfing behavior of the user on the website. Based on your surfing behavior, the Facebook Audience Manager website can create custom audiences that will classify you based on your surfing behavior. These educated website custom audiences can then be used in remarketing or lookalike campaigns. An example of this is that you visit the website to make a specific order, but cancel it. They would then fall into a “break-off audience” and be addressed again in a Facebook remarketing campaign.

Audience Network

To support our online marketing efforts, we also use the Audience Network of Facebook, Inc. (1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA, “Facebook”). The Audience Network facilitates the placement of third-party advertising and / or Facebook ads or other commercial or sponsored content (“advertisements”) on our platform as well as in our mobile applications, mobile websites and video players.

If you are a Facebook user, Facebook can associate your visit to our pages with a Pixel ID and Facebook cookie. As a Facebook member, you can also edit account settings at https://www.facebook.com/ads/website_custom_audiences/ and disagree with cross-device data collection via Custom Audiences.
